Bringing our village together

A Seal Harbor Institution

Welcome to Seal Harbor Library, built on a hill above Seal Harbor Beach. In addition to specatular views over the harbor, our reading room provides a quiet oasis, comfortable chairs, and a fine choice of reading material. We offer book delivery to our home-bound patrons, and programs geared to inspire our younger readers. Please stop in and get lost in a book.

The Seal Harbor Library Book Group is formulating plans for the coming summer's reading. At this point, we are suggesting book titles we would like to read and/or books we have read and would like to discuss. We are also getting a sense of when people will be around for participation. Some books that have been suggested include: The Line Becomes a River by Francisco Cantu, Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue, Memoirs of Hadrian by Marguerite Yourcenar, and Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. Last year our readings included To The Lighthouse, Educated, and Sing, Unburied, Sing. If you are interested in joining us please send your contact information and any recommendations to All Seal Harbor residents and guests are welcome. We will likely begin in the last week of June.

Mark your calendars for our annual Library Fair on Saturday, July 27. See you there!
